The NOYAFA NF-838 is an LCD multifunction cable tester and wire tracker for network, telephone, coax, USB and IEEE 1394 runs. Trace the target cable with selectable tones, then confirm pair order and common faults on the backlit display with the remote wiremap unit.

English controls cover ON/OFF, LIGHT, TEST and SCAN on the emitter; the receiver wand adds volume and an earphone jack for noisy racks or plant rooms. Powered by two 9V alkaline cells (not a rechargeable lithium kit). Hunt lines connected to live switches, routers or PC ports without needing extra adaptors for the five main connector types.

No. This SKU is the base NF-838 LCD multifunction cable tester only (EKO-NF-838). NF-838M, NF-8209, NF-816LP and other letter/sibling models are separate products. -M / -R / -S on the bodies are kit part markings only.

What cables can it test and trace?

RJ45 (Cat5e/6e), RJ11 telephone, BNC/coax, USB and IEEE 1394, plus tone on other metal wires with the leads. Wiremap covers common opens, shorts, miswires and reverses.

Does it include earphones and a remote?
